Watchung is off and running. We had our first meeting on October 11, 2007. It was good to see old and new faces.

I think the key word this season is enthusiasm. I see it everywhere. People are involved and excited about the season. Our calendar is complete and boy, do we have a fun-filled season. I can't wait to go skiing!

Our club participated to 2 town fairs, one in Westfield and the other in Cranford. We set up our booth and showed the best Watchung has to offer. Both fairs were an astounding success. I thing our open house will be full prospective new members. So the key for us is to make our guests as welcome as possible.

I am trying something new this season with our committee chair people. The goal is to get everyone involved. Expect one of our chair people to offer a tack for you to do. Try it, and do something you have never done before. Put some spice in your life. Be part of Watchung.

Next on my agenda is you. All those folks that I haven't seen at the meetings and on the bus. As a club what are we missing that would entice you back? We have food, fun and even skiing!!
