Hello Watchung,

   It's been a while since my last message, but it's also taking a while for this ski season to get underway. A large part of that is the lack of snow - which I would like to say I am not responsible for. Anyway, the ski season is here and as Watchung skiers we all should know how to go with the conditions and make a good time of it. I feel from this point on we will have a good season and lots of good times skiing with Watchung. There is plenty of time to sign up for our buses in February and March. Please contact the trip leaders and get on the trips. Now we can really use our membership support to reach out to people you know who may be thinking of a day skiing and tell them all about our trips, so we can make them a success! You can also come down with a friend or an interested skier any Thursday night at 8:30pm at the Mountainside Elks and attend a meeting or check out the latest on watchungskiclub.com. I know it's been a little difficult for the club lately with my JOB and the lack of skiable conditions. Also in the recent past the club has lost the services of two of its officers, which I felt were very valuable people to us and seemingly irreplaceable right now, but I hope with everyone's help and effort we will make a memorable year of it. Our club is a group of GOOD people in support of a GOOD cause that is SKIING so LET'S SKI!!!
