The first event we have is the New Jersey Ski Councils Jamboree on October 19. This event is extremely important to our clubs future. We need to gather, support and represent our club. Last year was an incredible skiing year and the public wants and needs to look forward to this season. People are looking to enjoy themselves again and that is where we can help. I am hoping to setup a PowerPoint presentation to display us at our best. This event is important to our own Open House (scheduled for November 8^th). At the Jamboree we are able to entice Mountain Resorts to attend our Open House and bring in possible new members.

   Open House is when we can join together as one and increase our presence in the community. This night is when we invite new and old friends to join us in what we love to do SKI. Last years Open House was a positive event, let’s build on this. We need all Trip Leaders present to sign up our members and guests. We need to sell our Cheesecakes and must of all to have FUN.

   Cheesecakes are being sold this year again and I will be presenting a motion before the council to use all profits from these sales to offset the cost of our Banquet. I am asking you for your support in my motion by voting yes and also by selling as many as possible.
