where Elvira spotted a snake sunning himself on rock. Back
on the trail we passed 2 of NJ’s largestglacial erratics named
Whale Head Rock and Bear Rock both were deposited by the Wisconsin
Glacier at the end of the last glacial period.
After a brief trail lunch stop, we hiked

would all continue to hike this summer to get in shape for Joe’s

My next hike is scheduled for Sunday September
23, 10:00am at Jockey Hollow.
